1. Agreement
By creating a PHAME account and using the app to request rides or deliveries, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
2. Who can use PHAME
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate personal details, and keep your phone number and password secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
3. Rides and deliveries
PHAME connects passengers with independent riders. Fares are calculated from the base fare, distance and time rates configured for your town, plus any applicable minimum fare. Estimates shown before a trip may change if the route, waiting time or destination changes.
For deliveries, you confirm that the items you send are legal, correctly described, and safely packaged. Prohibited items include cash, weapons, drugs, live animals and hazardous materials.
4. Payments
Trip fares are paid directly to the rider unless the app states otherwise. Riders pay a per-trip service fee to PHAME from their in-app wallet. Fare disputes and claims are handled under our Refund Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Your personal data is handled under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Cancellations and suspensions
You may cancel a trip before the rider arrives. Repeated cancellations within a short period may result in a temporary suspension of your account, as configured by PHAME. Serious or repeated violations may lead to a permanent ban.
6. Verification
Some features, including night-time trips, require identity verification. Once your identity has been verified, your verified details (name, date of birth and ID information) are locked and can only be changed by contacting support.
7. Conduct and safety
Threatening, harassing or discriminatory behaviour towards riders or other users is not tolerated. Trip data may be shared with law enforcement when legally required or when there is a credible safety concern.
8. Liability
PHAME provides a technology platform. Riders are independent contractors and PHAME is not liable for their acts or omissions beyond what the law requires. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PHAME's liability for any claim is limited to the value of the affected trip.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
